| Any Player Over The Weight Limit For Their Division Are Eligible To Participate As A "Lineman - Eligible" For All Divisions. (No child is Left Behind) O/L players are prohibited from participating as Lineman - Eligible in all divisions |
| Lineman Eligible Defintions Lineman eligible means that children above their division's set weight limit will get to learn and play a position as a lineman. Older-Lighter players are not eligible to participate as a Lineman - Eligible, they can move up to the next division of play. Players that are the oldest age in their division can request a waiver to move up to the next division of play. Players cannot waiver down, only up to the next division. Waivers must be approved by the Association President and Football Director. |
| Mandatory Play Rule In the CFYFL we have a mandatory play rule in place for all tackle football players, every tackle player must play a minimum of (8) eight active plays. Definition of an active play is as follows: Any play on the field, excluding a play in which a penalty occurred, regardless of which team the penalty is on. Every Player Plays |

| SCHOLASTIC REQUIREMENT Proof of satisfactory progress in school is required. A 70% Seventy percent or the equivalent shall be the minimum grade point average acceptable to participate. In cases of doubt or conflict of opinion, a written statement by the school administration shall be deemed final. NOTE: This rule as it relates to scholastic grades may not be made more stringent by any team, association, or league,as other rules may be. Any participant who averages 95 or higher will be recognized at the year end banquet as an Academic All-Star and will be presented with a Certificate of Achievement. They also become eligible for the CFYFL- CiCi's Pizza Scholar Athlete of the week if nominated. |
